Moving to New Braunfels from another state three years ago, I depended on the \"Best Of\" list to choose a salon. That salon was NOT \"the best\", just the biggest -- hence they got tons of votes. I was okay with the cuts I got but the quality was often questionable. My grown daughter\'s experience was so bad she came home in tears and the salon agreed to \"fix\" her hair for free. Needless to say, she never went back. SOOO... I was excited to find that a salon new to my neighborhood was actually just a stone\'s throw away (rather than across town like the other one). I\'ve been going to Megan for a year now and my daughter sees Megan as well. We are both so happy with the quality of her work. My daughter recommended Megan to her co-worker who is also pleased. I (we) highly recommend Gold Dust and Megan in particular. Even if you have to drive a little further, it\'s so worth it!!

Went in to see Meagan for an all over color cover up over old red hair dye and a cut. Meagan was amazing. She took the time to exam my hair and make sure what I wanted as far as color and cut and made sure to educate me on how red dye can affect color choices. I already have her booked for my next touch up and now my mom is going to see her too. The shop is lovely too, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Recommend 10/10

I spent most of my life in the luxury cosmetics industry, so never felt the need for regular professional facials... and then came Amanda at Golddust! I had the one hour hydrating facial (which includes an amazing arm, neck and shoulder massage!), it is seriously the best treatment I\'ve ever had. My skin feels so soft and truly hydrated- Yet somehow more firm. My makeup went on effortlessly just now, so I had to share a pic. I\'m calling now to get a standing monthly appointment and am eager to try some of the other treatments options they offer!

This salon is a hidden gem! I had a haircut with Bianca. She was very kind, professional and took her time to listen and shape my short pixie with some solid cutting techniques. The salon itself is new and lovely with that great fresh and clean smell of the Aveda products I love.

Had my hair cut & colored by Megan. Had a facial by Marissa. Both were beyond fantastic! Salon is beautiful, clean and all so friendly and top notch professionals. Highly recommend

Jenni, did a amazing job on my hair ! I had gone to a school and they messed it all up part was orange or yellow most of it was white. So I had a consult with her last week and told her what I wanted. Well, she went above and beyond on what I thought would happen. I love my color and cut I need layers but did not get them but will be calling to add them she is a wonderful stylist and will be recommending her to my family and friends. Abby is the sweetest! I have curly hair and wanted to get bangs with layers and a face frame. It is difficult to find a stylist who can handle curly hair, so I do have so trust issues when it comes to my hair. I completely freaked out once she cut the bangs. It was a shock to see them on me. I had to stop to take a breather. She was so kind and understanding to allow me to take some time to relax and think about the cut. So I showed up the next day to finish her masterpiece. Really cute location, comfy lounge to wait in for a few mins before your appointment starts, was offered snacks and drinks too! I was in for a cut and really just needed an inch off and Bianca worked with me to trim up my ends and face framing layers for a beautiful result. Great conversation during the experience as well.
